Hi, I’m John Afonso, a multidisciplinary artist specializing in 3D design, digital art, and motion graphics. My work is a fusion of visual storytelling, technology, and sound, shaped by my background in graphic design and music composition.
 

My journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of Havana, where I developed a strong foundation in visual identity, branding, and motion graphics. At the same time, my years studying percussion at the Amadeo Roldan Conservatory instilled in me a deep appreciation for rhythm, composition, and the seamless relationship between sound and visuals.
 

In the ever-evolving world of digital art, I found my passion for 3D animation and NFT creation, pushing the boundaries of creativity through immersive, dynamic works. I have designed, rendered, and sold original 3D artwork on platforms like Foundation, OpenSea, and Rarible, with my pieces showcased in events such as NFT NYC, Miami Gateway, and NFT Liverpool. My work blends intricate detail, surreal aesthetics, and conceptual storytelling, aiming to create art that resonates beyond the screen.
 

As both an artist and designer, I am always experimenting with new techniques and tools, from Blender and After Effects to DaVinci Resolve and sound design software, to bring ideas to life in the most vivid way possible. Whether it’s creating a high-energy motion piece, a conceptual 3D artwork, or an audiovisual experience, my goal is to craft visuals that captivate, inspire, and challenge perspectives.
